Cogne is located 24 km from the A5 “Aosta Ovest” motorway exit and 139 km from Turin.
By car, from Turin/Milan.
From the A5 motorway: when approaching Aosta, do not exit at the first junction (“Aosta est”), but continue in the direction of Mont Blanc and exit at the second junction, i.e. “Aosta ovest – Saint Pierre”. Please note that the exit is located just after a tunnel.
Turn right onto the SR47 road in the direction of Cogne. Continue for 26 km and cross Cogne. At the roundabout, follow the signs for Gimillan on the left.
Once in Gimillan, enter the village and walk past the church and turn left, then immediately right. The hotel is about 100 metres away.
By car, from France (Mont Blanc Tunnel).
At Courmayeur, take the E25 motorway in the direction of Aosta-Turin A4. Exit at “Aosta ovest – Aosta Centro”.
Turn right onto the SR47 road in the direction of Cogne. Continue for 26 km and cross Cogne. At the roundabout, follow the signs for Gimillan on the left.
Once in Gimillan, enter the village and walk past the church and turn left, then immediately right. The hotel is about 100 metres away.
By car, from the Great St Bernard Tunnel (Switzerland).
Take the SS27 state road in the direction of Aosta.
Follow the signs for Aosta centre (NO motorway).
At the roundabout near the hospital, turn right, in the direction of Courmayeur, Mont Blanc, Cogne.
Leaving Aosta, near Sarre, turn left onto SR47 in the direction of Cogne. Continue for 26 km and cross all of Cogne. At the roundabout, follow the signs to Gimillan on the left.
Once in Gimillan, enter the village and walk past the church and turn left, then immediately right. The hotel is about 100 metres away.
